Perfectionism is the underlying belief that my actions are tied to my worthiness as a human being. If I work really hard at being perfect, no one will see how broken I am and the deep struggle to be valued. We beat ourselves up with negative self-talk, when really it’s time to let go of our unrealistic goals, show up, and be seen. Letting going of perfectionism frees us to be real, grow in excellence, and own our mistakes. We will thrive in life as we bring our best us to the table!
