Return to Normalcy

Thought for the day: There are days I just want things to go back to normal! Big change happens for better or worse and we find ourselves scrambling and trying to cling to anything that feels solid, familiar, or normal. Adjusting to change brings emotional ups and downs; highs and lows you may never have anticipated. In the midst of it all, it is important to stay connected, let people in, be vulnerable, adjust your expectations, and ask for help. It’s easy to want to isolate and hide, but we need each other even when it’s messy.

What is normal anyways? Maybe it’s time to redefine your normal and embrace change that brings healing, freedom, and a greater level of joy. Change isn’t easy but it can definitely be worth it!

“If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.” -Maya Angelou
