Do you compartmentalize?

I am learning and have been asking God to teach me how to abide in His presence–to not compartmentalize Him to just a church meeting or an experience during a quiet time with Him. But to know He is always with me even while I am doing the dishes; helping the kids with homework; encountering customers at my job; relaxing with my husband; serving at my church; and making daily decisions.

God wants to be a part of all aspects of my life. He is not to be compartmentalized to only one aspect of my life, but He is to be infiltrated into ALL aspects of my life. Knowing that as I abide and stay in Him, I am establishing a knowing of Him, a knowing of His presence through every decision, thought, and action in all aspects of my daily life–a knowing that He abiding with me.
